I had my driver drop me off at the Hotel Saratoga where I had the perfect cafe con leche with a little shaved chocolate on top.
Here goes, my birthday present trip to myself-----Havana. Could anything be more exciting? The vintage cars, culture, Hemingway haunts, the beautiful, decaying architecture, the rum, and the exotic sound of Cuban music. It's all here and soon I will be living it, walking its streets, feasting on its sights, smells, tastes and sounds of this marvelous city. Life is good!
